Welcome to the Fox Terrier Rescue - Midwest website. Please browse our site, and contact us with any questions. If you are looking to adopt a fox terrier, please read our helpful hints of what makes a good home for a fox terrier, what what a fox is really like. They aren't like the well trained dogs you see on TV or in the movies. Carefully consider your decision to adopt a fox terrier and be sure it really is the right dog for you. Our goal is to place our dogs into the last home they'll ever need.
We locate and rescue Wire and Smooth Fox Terriers that have been surrendered to shelters, found as strays, or given to us by owners who can no longer care for their dogs. We also rescue Wire Fox Terriers from Puppy Mills, rehabilitate them, and find real homes for them, away from the horrors of the mills.
We are a non-profit organization and are mostly self-funded. Your help of a donation to enable us to continue our work is greatly appreciated. Your donations will go to the medical care of fox terriers brought into our rescue.
We are a group made up of individuals who love fox terriers. We are not a shelter.
All Fox Terriers that enter Midwest Fox Terrier Rescue are fostered in homes, and treated as our own pets are.
We strive to find every Fox Terrier, regardless of age or health, a home where they will be loved and cared for.
We are entirely non-profit. All adoption fees are used to offset the high cost of medical treatment for Fox Terriers in need.
